Milek Agrawal

Engineer. Occasionally writes.

I don't have a dramatic origin story about engineering. What I remember most is curiosity. Not toward outcomes, but toward mechanisms. I was drawn to how things worked behind the scenes.

Now I build tax infrastructure at Commenda. I started on the frontend, found my way to backend systems, stayed because designing interaction between systems is more interesting than interfaces between humans and systems.

Writing

Starting HuddleUp First venture. Distribution disguised as utility.
Why I Lift The gym as a place where things are simple.
On Timing Why I left LocaleAI.

Sensory Preferences

Piano evokes something oceanic. Calm but vast. I prefer environments with low noise, flowing sound, subtle continuity. Silence with texture.

Music

My taste is less genre-driven, more emotion-driven. Eminem, Linkin Park, Elvis. Not for sound alone, but for vulnerability expressed through strength. Fragility disguised as force. There's often quiet sadness behind intensity. That contrast stays with me.

Lifting

The gym is where things are simple. You build, something changes. No ambiguity. No interpretation. Just physics.
